In his own words:So, first things first. Is Dallas Cambridge Raleigh really my name?! Yup, it sure is. And no, I wasn't conceived in any of those cities.
Before embarking on a career in photography, I worked up and down the Pacific Coast as a plumber, bartender, short order cook, taxi driver and commercial fisherman. Through all of this my real passion was making pictures. I followed this passion to the Brooks Institute of Photography and on to New York to begin my real education. After a decade in New York working and learning from luminaries in the studio and on distant locations the Photography Fairy Godmother granted my wish! Just kidding, New York taught me how to get stuff done, how to ask clients the right questions in order to meet their needs, how to light pretty much anything, and have fun doing it. I struck out on my own and for nearly a decade I’ve been using this experience to help clients from small local businesses to multinational corporations get the images they need.
